The idea of the machine and the architect has become synonymous with the post digital age. How we as designers perceive and experience the world is not necessarily how the ever evolving technological tools understand it. The disparity between these two mediums now allows us to re-imagine and reinvent the sensory experience.

The process began by using software to computationally recreate an architectural motif in 3D from photography. From this imperfect digital recreation a intriguing moment of inflection was chosen to be further investigated. This exploration was continued by CNCing a physical model and using projection mapping to accentuate those details.
